Ajay Kaul is a writer, podcaster and a Tech Manager.

Born in the beautiful Kashmir valley in India, Ajay graduated with an engineering degree from IIT Roorkee in 1991. Ajay moved to the United States to pursue his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Arizona in 1997.

Bitten by the travel bug and a voracious appetite for World History, Ajay achieved his dream of setting foot on all 7 continents in 2012.

​

Ajay debuted as an author in December 2017 with the release of Mumbai Matinee - an anthology of stories from the city of Mumbai, India.

​

Taking his love of history to the next level, Ajay launched his Podcast, the Y in History in January of 2021 to cover key aspects of history from across the globe.

​

Ajay works as a Global Tech Program Manager and lives in California, USA.
